Ammit-54

2 min read
Hey everyone. It's been a while since I have posted anything. I guess I just had a bit of inspiration hit me, so I figured I would share. This is probably the most concrete concept that I have for my own speculative evolution project. I present Ammit-54, a world inhabited by its own endemic life and also Earth organisms. I got the idea to do this project after watching Alien Biospheres by Biblaridion. Some other inspirations include Tales of Kaimere by IllustratedMenagerie and Ratworld, a Google sites project by KCM and Bedzi, which has a similar premise to Ammit-54. Overall, the point of the project is simple: how would Terran organisms interact with organisms from another planet? The current premise of the project involves an alien scientist discovering this seemingly ordinary world only to find that it is not so ordinary after all. Not only does it have its own unique megafauna, but also descendants of animals from Earth, a planet thought to have perished over a hundred million

Fatalica

2 min read
Hey everyone, Gfan2015 here. I just wanted let everyone know that I have something in the works. As some of you may be aware of, I posted a journal entry discussing the makings of a speculative evolution project called Phonos. I just want to let anyone interested know that Phonos is cancelled. When I conceptualized the idea for Phonos, I didn't realize how hard it was going to be to create an entire planet. I'm a massive fan of seed worlds, but I am not at the level where I can work on an entire world. With that in mind, I decided to something a little easier while still being creative at the same time. I introduce to you: Fatalica, an alternate evolution project. Lately, I have been in love with isolated ecosystems and landmasses. Often times, these special places contain some of the most alien organisms on our planet and they can be found nowhere else. As such, I figured working on an isolated continent would be an easier task than a whole planet. My biggest inspirations for

Hello folks. After much debate, I have finally come up with an idea for a spec project. I introduce you to the world of Phonos. The general inspiration for the idea came from my appreciation for what I like to call prehistoric seed worlds, a seed world that contains ancient life from Earth that have been extinct for millions of years and have been given new opportunities to speciate. Seed worlds as a whole are common, but seed worlds containing dinosaurs and ancient megafauna are rather few and far between. As such, I wish to throw my hat in the ring and add to a sparse niche of spec evo. To give a quick overview, the current premise is that during the Barremian stage of the Early Cretaceous, a multiverse spanning event gathers fauna from several (between two and five) alternate universes and places them on a planet outside of our solar system. I'm still deciding on the specifics as to how this event happened, but the general gist of the project is to see how these animals interact
